The management of Paris Saint-Germain has decided not to offer a new contract not only to its captain Thiago Silva, but also to the goalkeeper Edinson Cavani. According to ESPN, they will both be able to leave for Parc de France as free agents next summer. Priority for the French grand is the retention of Marco Verratti and Marquinhos, who is negotiating new contracts. 35-year-old Tiago Silva is a PSG captain but no longer enters the club`s long-term plans. The situation is different with Cavani. The bosses were planning to sit at the negotiating table with the 32-year-old Uruguayan, but his latest injury changed their intentions. If he leaves PSG, Cavani will choose between Atletico Madrid, Napoli, Inter Milan and Manchester United who are interested in him.

The Uruguayan has been playing in the 2013 Paris Grand Prix. Previously, he wore the teams of Danubio, Palermo and Napoli. Last season, Cavani scored 23 goals and made 9 assists in all tournaments.

Tiago Silva is a former footballer of Juventude, Fluminense, Dynamo (Moscow), Porto and Milan. He has been playing for PSG since 2012.
