Soccer predictions Sensation! Bayern is out of the German Cup!

The winner of the trophy Bayern (Munich) was eliminated in the 1/16 finals of the German Cup. The Bavarian giants were eliminated by second division Holstein (Kiel) after penalties. In the regular time, both teams did not announce a winner and made 2:2, after the hosts equalized late in added time of the match. Serge Gnabri opened the scoring for the Bavarians in the 14th minute, but Finn Bartels equalized in the 37th. Leroy Sane again brought Munich ahead in the 48th minute, but in the 5th minute of added time Hauke Val scored for 2:2 and sent the match into overtime. No goals were scored there, and in the penalty shootout the hosts were flawless and realized all their shots, while Mark Roca missed the 6th penalty for Bayern and this turned out to be decisive. Curiously, the guests played with special teams made by Farrell Williams, but they did not bring them success. Bayern opened the scoring in the 14th minute with one of their first better attacks. The ball was centered in the penalty area, where Thomas Mueller headed for Serge Gnabri, who, despite the intervention of the goalkeeper, managed to score for 0:1. However, there were huge doubts about the ambush. Gnabri had another chance in the 27th minute, but this time he shot past the door. Then in the 36th minute Mueller could have signed, but he was not accurate. Holstein equalized in the 37th minute. A great long pass found Finn Bartels behind the defense, he advanced and calmly realized for 1:1.

The hosts could have made a complete turnaround in the next minute, but a goal by Jae-Sun Lee was canceled due to an ambush. In the 39th minute, an excellent opportunity opened up for Mueller, but he did not find the outline of the door. However, Munich took the lead again in the 48th minute, when Leroy Sane with a wonderful foul did not leave a chance for the goalkeeper for 1:2.

In the 66th minute Jamal Musiala had a good chance, but his shot was saved by the opponent`s guard. Three minutes later, Manuel Neuer had to intervene decisively in a head shot from Joshua Mees. Douglas Costa fired at Holstein`s goal in the 84th minute, but failed to hinder the goalkeeper. In added time, Holstein equalized. The referee had appointed 3 extra minutes, but let the game continue much longer and in the 5th added minute, with a cross in the penalty area, Halke Val equalized with his head and sent the match prediction by questions for tipsters into overtime.

There both teams played cautiously and goals did not fall, and the winner had to be determined by penalties. The first five performances for both teams were flawless. The sixth shot for Bayern, which was entrusted to Mark Roca, proved to be decisive. The Spaniard`s shot was saved, and then Finn Bartels scored for Holstein and thus sealed the success of his team, which will play in the 1/8 finals. Munich, on the other hand, leave with their tails wagged and end their participation in the tournament.
