Declan Rice says England`s departure from France at the 2022 World Cup is unfair.


Yesterday, Gareth Southgate`s team lost 1-2 to France and were knocked out of the World Cup in the 1/4 finals.


We weren`t overly confident, but we felt confident enough to think about beating France and reaching the semi-finals. I don`t remember them showing anything creative other than two heads. We played pretty well.


In my opinion, the best team lost. And this proves our level. People are starting to believe in us again, the country is pushing us forward. A few years ago this was not the case, so we can be proud of ourselves.


We have to come back because in international football everyone is judged by the success achieved, " said the England and West Ham midfielder.
