Carlos Sainz is looking forward to success in the upcoming Formula 1 season.


The Spaniard started the year with a trip to Dakar, where he watched his father, Carlos Sainz Sr. win the first leg of the race.


Hope the year goes well. It started out great for the Sainz family and hopefully it will be the same for me and Ferrari.


Have I seen the new car? Of course, I have been following him for the past few months and have already spoken to the new team leader Wasser. It`s not long before the tests, but I won`t say anything until I see the rest, - said the Scuderia driver.


Pre-season testing will take place in Bahrain from February 23 to 25, with the first race on March 5.
