Following the release of the NFL regular season schedule, it was revealed that the New York Jets will play 6 bye games in the first 11 game weeks.

The Jets have primetime games scheduled against the San Francisco 49ers (Sept. 10), New England Patriots (Sept. 20), Buffalo Bills (Oct. 15), Pittsburgh Steelers (Oct. 20), Houston Texans (Nov. 1) and Indianapolis Colts(November 18th).


Yes, there are a lot of prime time games early in the season, but the Jets owe us one. Last year we bet everything on the Jets, and when Aaron Rodgers only lasted four plays, it was a big bummer for all of us, " explained NFL Vice President of Broadcast Planning Mike North.


Last season the Jets had 5 games advised by live video scheduled. After Rogers was injured in the first game, the team finished outside the playoffs with a record of 7-10.
