Alexandre Lacazette expressed his opinion on Antoine Griezmann`s departure from the French national team. The 33-year-old Atletico midfielder announced his retirement from the national team on September 30, right before the new training camp.
I`m sad [about his passing] and I have the feeling that there`s something hidden in him, but I don`t know what. Either he is going to release a more significant statement with real goodbyes later, or he will return to the national team. He remains an important player for this team and so we will have to see how they respond without him.
But, in my opinion, there is something hidden here, to be honest. The ending is not good enough for everything he has done in the national team. And if the team accepts this, this is also a problem for me, " said the Lyon striker.
