Shearer:Mourinho`s tactics hinder Lucaku

English Football Legend Alan Shearer believes Manchester United striker Rommel Lukaku can play even better than he has shown since the start of the season. The Belgian has 13 goals and 6 assists in the Premier League so far. However, according to Sheer, Jose Mourinho`s more protective tactic prevents the attacker from revealing his full potential.

I sympathize with Lukaku because of the way that Jose Mourinho makes the team play with Matic or Herera in the middle of the pitch. They are the type of footballers who, when they take the ball, are not the first to think of how to put it forward, and they start wondering if they let it go left or right to the right. If they were more likely to try to get it straight ahead, then it would have been easier for the attackers to create problems for their rivals, Shearer said.
